About me
I have been a registered Architect since 2014, having studied for my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the Manchester School of Architecture between 2006 and 2012.
I recently took a career break to recover from burnout; a chance for radical rest, and time to reflect on what my work might look like in the future.
Deciding to go freelance has allowed me the opportunity to tailor an offering that strikes a balance between my professional experience of designing spaces and places for people to inhabit, and my personal approach to holding space for inclusion through collaboration and empathetic enquiry.

With a personable nature, I bring curiosity, balance, creative logic (and humour when appropriate) to every interaction.
I am committed to continuous learning - recently undertaking training in Bridging and Belonging, Inclusive Design, and Design for Neurodiversity.
My Values

Honest Communication - Be clear. Be kind. Transparency is key to effective collaboration.
Curious Collaboration - I seek to understand so we can work together toward a shared vision, leveraging the skills and experience of everyone within the team.
Nurturing Belonging - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are central elements in everything that I do; recognising the uniqueness in individual identities, and allowing the space for them to be safely expressed.
Why etc.?
Quite simply - it's my initials. They mean a lot to me.
But etc. also signifies an open-endedness - contextual, yet with no fixed end point. It represents opportunity; for the unplanned, the unexpected; for learning, adaptation, and generating new ideas; to see where things go... etc.
I resonate deeply with that idea of curious exploration, and relish those conversations that spark breakthroughs for others.
